Pharmaceutical Research, Development and Quality Assurance

Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and Thermogravimetry (TGA) are two Thermal Analysis techniques that are described in both the European (Ph. Eur., Chapter 2.2.34) and the United States pharmacopeia (USP, Chapter 891).

Coupling thermobalances to gas analysis systems such as mass spectrometers (QMS, Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer) or FTIR instruments (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy) expands the spectrum of analysis and can yield important information about vaporization processes (release of solvents, sublimations) or changes in the chemical composition (water release from hydrates, decomposition) of active ingredients, auxiliary substances and formulations.

The Benefit to You:

Precision, reliability, retraceability and conformance of the measurements with legal specifications are all important factors to consider when working in a regulated environment. NETZSCH Analyzing & Testing not only provides you with high-performance instruments of reputed German manufacture, but also offers flexible qualification agreements (IQ-OQ-PQ), on-site calibration service, a multitude of training courses for the continuing education of your staff, and expert application support.
