Check – Curing of dental restoratives

Our DEA 231/1 Epsilon with high data acquisition rate has been developed especially for the cure monitoring of highly reactive thermosetting resins.

Glass fiber filled unsaturated polyester molding compounds, better known as SMC (Sheet molding compounds) but also the UV curing of adhesives and paints are tested in-situ during the curing process.

A new application field is the light-curing of dental materials.

Please read more on this in the latest publication “Dielectric analysis of light-curing dental restorative materials – a pilot study”, which has been published in the Journal of Materials Science.
