KICET-Delegation from Korea visits Analyzing & Testing

On Friday, September 15th, 2006, we had the honor of greeting a group of Korean students at
our facilities in Selb, escorted by Jae-Hong Chae, Manager of the Application Center at the Korea
Institute of Ceramic Engineering and Technology.
KICET has been working successfully with NETZSCH instrumentation already for several years
and uses techniques such as Simultaneous Thermal Analysis, Dilatometry and Laser Flash.

After a warm welcome and a small refreshment, our guests were given an overview of the
NETZSCH Group and especially of the functions of the “Analyzing & Testing“ Business Unit.

This was followed by a tour of our laboratory, led by our specialist Mr. Erwin Kaisersberger,
who presented the newest developments in instrumentation technology and used practical
demonstrations directly on the instruments to further familiarize his attentive audience with the
NETZSCH technology.

Our lunch together was followed by a visit to our sister company, NETZSCH-Feinmahltechnik GmbH
of the “Grinding & Dispersing” Business Unit.

We would like to extend our thanks both to KICET for choosing NETZSCH as a stop along their tour
of Europe and also to our guests for their high level of interest and for their time.
