Scandinavian Double-Pack

”Get the Best for your Thermal Analyzer“ was our motto for two seminars in Copenhagen,
Denmark and Helsinki, Finland. With a total of 24 participants from Scandinavia, the growing
interest in advanced methods for Thermal Analysis was clear.

Besides the interpretation and evaluation of measurement curves, particularly from the areas
of thermogravimetry and differential scanning calorimetry, discussions focused above all on
coupling methods and the application of ever-expanding software packages as a supplement
to standard measurements. The positive feedback received (see Karsten’s quote below) is
good evidence of the right connection to our customers.

“I heard a lot of positive comments among the participants on the training course and for us,
the course was very valuable. We got a much better feel for the technique and many detailed
answers to our questions, plus getting a fairly good, overall impression of the software's capabilities.

More emphasis on actual cases from the participants may be an advantage, but probably takes a lot
of time if going into depth. One aspect you might add, would be examples from your experience with
different (crucible) materials, different cleaning techniques etc. Generally, the course was well balanced
with only a few cases of too detailed discussion.”

Thank you for sending this positive feedback, Karsten.
Further we would like to express our thanks to all participants for their active contributions.
