Our Friends from across the World – As Guests in Selb Again

The International Sales Meeting was held again this year, now for the 21st time.
We had the pleasure of welcoming a large number of participants: a total of 70 guests, of which 14 were agents and almost 30 were NETZSCH employees from 25 different countries. In particular, tribute was paid to the outstanding development of the Analyzing & Testing Business Unit over the course of the last fiscal year.

Many improvements to existing instruments and software were introduced by the R&D department. In particular, the possibility of conducting precise measurements fulfilling all standardization requirements on insulation materials with the new GHP (guarded hot plate instrument) was highlighted. Also, by means of the newly introduced component kinetics, the Advanced Software has enhanced the application possibilities for chemical reactions with varying concentrations of initial components.

Industry-oriented marketing was the focus of the sales training, whereby global and regional market potentials and competitive situations were discussed in detail.


The traditional Award Dinner took place on Wednesday evening in the NETZSCH canteen.
As every year, recognition was given to individual salespersons – and also to two sales teams – for excellent results in their respective sales territories.

Mr. Erwin Kaisersberger received a “Lifetime Award” for his 34 years of dedication to NETZSCH, and reaped thundering applause in addition to his gift from the company.

We are already looking forward to the next large reunion at the 22nd Sales Meeting in 2008!
