Thermal Analysis Seminar
„Modern thermoanalytical techniques and their application“
Portoroz Slovenia, May 27-29, 2008

Immediately close to the Adriatic Sea this NETZSCH event took place in the renowned convention center Bernardin.

The participants came from everywhere in Europe and had the possibility not to only share in lectures and discussions but also to do sample measurements during the seminar.

Additionally to the standard methods of thermal analysis - DSC, TG, DTA, and dilatometry - also questions about other fields, such as thermal kinetics, coupling methods, and laserflash processes were handled.

The laborious working days were closed with relaxation and relief in e.g. a professionally guided tour through Piran, close to Portoroz, and chats in cosy ambiance completed by Mediterranian delicacies.
