Heat transfer of polymer melts and other liquids


Knowledge of thermophysical properties is essential for the heat transfer of different materials in process but also for simulations calculations. Traditional data bases often only provide thermal conductivity values at room temperature.

With up-to-date flash instruments such as our LFA 447 NanoFlash® and our LFA 457MicroFlash® it is possible to measure not only thermal diffusivity at a solid but also within the softening and melting range.

For polymer melts and other liquids from now on NETZSCH supplies special sample carrier systems made of different materials.
