By coupling the thermal analysis instrument with the Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer (QMS) the detection and identification of the evolved gases (evolved gas analysis - EGA) are possible in exact time correlation with the other thermal analysis signals. For gas transfer, NETZSCH can rely on more than 30 years experience and can offer you well-proven coupling systems: the unique SKIMMER® Coupling, the capillary coupling for the QMS 403 D Aëolos®, and the GC-MS Coupling.
The combination with an FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer) has become an absolute must, especially in the polymer producing, chemical and pharmaceutical industry. For more than 15 years NETZSCH Analyzing & Testing cooperates with the well-known producer of spectrometers Bruker Optik GmbH.
