The DEA 230 Epsilon systems operate with the Eumetric software under Windows®. The software features easy input of the measurement parameters, routines for data acquisition and evaluation and maximum flexibility. By exporting the data in ASCII format, the DEA results can be imported into the Proteus® software, for example to plot a direct comparison of the DMA and/or DSC data curves.
Both the Eumetric and the Proteus® software packages are licensed with the respective instruments and can of course be installed on other computer systems.

DEA features:

  • Multi-frequency measurements
  • Display of the measurement parameters phase, amplitude, loss factor (linear or logarithmic), permittivity (dielectric number, linear or logarithmic), tanδ as a function of time, temperature or frequency
  • Calculation of the logarithm of the ion conductivity or the ion viscosity from the loss factor
  • 1st derivative of the logarithm of the ion viscosity (reactivity)
  • Determination of the degree of cure (cure Index or percent cure)
  • Determination of the diffusion coefficient
  • Cole-Cole plot
  • Graphic export as bitmap
  • Data export in MS Excel or Proteus®
