From the year 2006 onwards, the TCT 426 runs under Proteus® Software on Windows®.The Proteus® Software includes everything you need to carry out a measurement and evaluate the resulting data. Through the combination of easy-to-understand menus and automated routines, a tool has been created that is extremely user-friendly and, at the same time, allows sophisticated analysis. The Proteus® software is licensed with the instrument and can of course be installed on other computer systems.

TCT features:

  • Monitoring of temperature stability in isothermal steps
  • Start of hot-wire current (repeat measurements automatically selectable)
  • Measurement of the time-dependent temperature increase in the test assembly
  • Designation of the evaluation range in the temperature increase curve
  • Calculation of the thermal conductivity according to the relevant evaluation formula
  • Results in tabular and graphic format
  • Integrated databank
