The TG 209 F1 Libra® is equipped with a cooling thermostat to guarantee highest long term stability, start measurements under room temperature and allow quick cooling of the micro furnace. Different vacuum pumps in connection with the prepared automatic evacuating and filling system, AutoVac, make measurements at a reduced pressure or in a pure, oxygen-free atmosphere possible. There are numbers of different crucibles of aluminum oxide, platinum, aluminum, graphite and fused silica available in different sizes.

The TG 209 F1 Libra® -ASC with automatic sample changer similarly handles routine measurements in quality control as well as requirements for research and development. It works around the clock to free your time for other challenges and allows you to make optimal use of the TG 209 F1 Libra® even during the weekend.
Of course, each sample can be assigned a different measurement and evaluation program. Easy-to-understand input fields lead you through the programming of a series of measurements. Unplanned analyses can also be inserted into a pre-programmed series of measurements already in progress.
For unstable samples or samples with volatile components, an automatic piercing device is available which opens the sealed crucible just prior to the start of measurement.
Materials research and characterization at the highest level are enabled by coupling of the TG 209 F1 Libra® to the Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer QMS 403 C Aëolos® and/or to an FTIR Spectrometer. Gases released are conducted via a heatable fused silica capillary or transfer line directly into the gas analyzer, where the volatile fragments can be detected down to the ppm-range during the decomposition of the sample.
