DMA / DMTA

Dynamic-Mechanical Analysis (DMA) / Dynamic Mechanical Thermal Analysis (DMTA) records the temperature-dependent visco-elastic properties and determines the modulus of elasticity and the damping values by applying an oscillating force to the sample.

NETZSCH instruments of course fulfill the respective instrument and applications standards for Dynamic-Mechanical Analysis - DMA (e.g. ASTM D 4065,
ASTM D 4092, DIN 53513, DIN 65583).

DMA 242 C - Dynamic mechanical AnalyzerDMA 242 C - Dynamic mechanical Analyzer
The robust construction of the DMA 242 C and the high resolution of the deformation measuring system enable precise measurements on both very rigid and very soft samples. The most varied of deformation types, digital signal filtering, kinetic evaluation and frequency extrapolation make the DMA 242 C to a real all-rounder.
