Users’ Meeting for Laser Flash Technique (LFA)

October, 26th - 27th, 2010 in Dresden/Germany

Sorry, this users' meeting is fully booked.
Contact us for alternative training dates on LFA.

Instruments:

LFA 447 NanoFlash®, LFA 457 MicroFlash®, LFA 427

Content:

Thermal conductivity and diffusivity are the most important thermophysical material parameters for the description of the heat transport properties of a material or component. For the precise measurement of thermal diffusivity, the LaserFlash technique (LFA) has proven itself as a fast, versatile and precise absolute method.

The LFA users’ meeting, taking place in Dresden with well-known lecturers from research & industry is addressed to all users of the laser flash method who are interested in Laser Flash Analysis and go for a well directed expansion of their knowledge. Scheduled as well are common discussions of measurement results and problems that participants may have during their routine application work. Planned is also a guided tour through the laboratories of the IKTS. The meeting is open as well to all interested people who do not yet use the laser flash technique actively.

In case you would like to discuss own measurements, we kindly ask you to please have them with you in either electronic or paper format.

In line with the users‘ meeting you will receive a documentation folder as well as a USB stick, including all lectures.

Please have a look onto our users' meeting agenda.
