    The NETZSCH N-Converter is a unit converter 
    designed for Microsoft Windows Vista which
    runs in Vista’s SideBar.

    This gadget is focused on scientific scale units,  
    especially on those used in the field of thermal 
    analysis. For specific heat capacity, for example, 
    you  can easily convert values from J/(kg * K)
    to cal/(g * K), and so on.

   The main feature distinguishing the N-Converter 
   from similar gadgets is the immediate simultaneous
   display of all values for a selected scale unit type. 
   If you choose “length” as the unit type, you will 
   immediately see all scale units referring to “length”.
   You can enter your value into the text box for any unit
   and the corresponding values in other units will be 
   recalculated “on the fly” as you are typing, so you will 
   immediately see the values for all units.

Type a value for any unit,                   
and all others are calculated 
immediately.                      There are also many different unit types from which to choose.
                                                                                                                                                 
                                                                                                                                                       
                                             If you change the unit type, the display will immediately be 
                                              refreshed in accordance with your choice.
                         
                                            The gadget is extremely flexible and can easily be  
                                            customized to your needs.
                                 
                                            The converter’s “settings” button will bring you to the 
                                            "properties" window.                                                                          


            Here you can:

           • adjust rounding settings  
              (e.g., "don't use rounding" or 
              "use rounding up to X digits");

            • select the unit types you want
               shown in the drop-down-list 
               (for example, activate "mass"
               and deactive "length");

           • select the specific units you
              want  displayed for each unit
              type (for example, activate
              "pound" and deactivate
