“Get the most out of your measuring data!”-NETZSCH Thermokinetics

Seminar from November 4th to November 5th, 2008 in Hamburg

The “NETZSCH Thermokinetics” software module enables a formal description of chemical processes, such as sintering, decomposition, and curing, for which a solution by conventional means would often not be possible at all, or only with great expenditure of time and effort.

The Thermokinetics seminar is designed for all users of thermoanalytical (or related thermal) methods who wish to find out more about the application possibilities of this program package and/or about the software itself.

The lectures will provide you with insight into the philosophy behind the program while elucidating its design and functionality; comprehensive practical exercises will make you comfortable in handling the software.

The software can process data gleaned from various measurement methods, such as Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), Differential Scanning Calorimetry / Differential Thermal Analysis (DSC/DTA), Mass Spectrometry (MS in MID-mode), Dilatometry (DIL), Rheometry (Rheo) or Dielectric Analysis (DEA). The ASCII format is used to interface between the respective measuring software and “NETZSCH Thermokinetics”. The use of ASCII also enables the import of data originating from sources other than a NETZSCH instrument.

Each participant will receive a time-limited full version of the “NETZSCH Thermokinetics” software. If you bring your own laptop along to Hamburg, you will be able to work with this program version already during the seminar.
