The Differential Scanning Calorimeter, DSC 200 F3 Maia® can be equipped with various accessories and extensions for optimum adjustment of the system to your requirements. Various cooling systems (forced air via compressor or pressurized air) can be used to cool the furnace back to room temperature. The liquid nitrogen cooling system allows tests at subambient temperatures from -170°C up to 600°C.
The cost-efficient intracooler offers an alternative to liquid nitrogen cooling and makes it possible to run measurements between -40 to 600°C.

The new, more powerful intracooler, ensures faster cooling rates and enables working within a temperature range between -70 and 600°C.

For investigation of the oxidative stability (O.I.T.), the Differential Scanning Calorimeter, DSC 200 F3 Maia® can be equipped with a software-controlled MFC gas flow control system for three gases.

A wide range of crucibles (aluminum, copper, silver, platinum, stainless steel for pressure applications, etc.) is available for nearly all possible applications and materials.
With the new crucible sealing press with exchangeable inserts, both standard aluminum crucibles and stainless steel crucibles for pressures up to 20 bar can be reproducibly sealed. (Photo).

Routine applications are facilitated conveniently with an automatic sample changer (ASC) for up to 20 samples and reference materials, also for different crucible types.
