NETZSCH Proteus® Software for Thermal Analysis The Proteus® Software runs on Windows® (XP Professional/Vista Business/Enterprise/Windows®7/Ultimate/32,64 Bit) and includes everything you need to carry out a measurement and evaluate the resulting data autonomously. The combination of easy-to-understand menus and automated routines constitutes a tool that is extremely user-friendly while allowing sophisticated analyses. The Proteus® Software is licensed with the instrument and can of course be installed on other computer systems. The Proteus® Software in the basic edition contains already all function criteria that are expected of modern measuring and evaluation software for all methods of Thermal Analysis of today. For advanced measuring and evaluation methods different additional software packages are available. The fifth generation of the Proteus® measurement and analysis software has been released. Intensive dialogue with users has made it possible to both make detailed improvements to existing functions and implement a series of new ones. The support of many users has played a decisive role in making Proteus® version 6.0 even more user-friendly and effective. Read more about the technical improvements of Proteus@ 6.0. For our LaserFlash models (LFA) the software version Proteus® 5.2.1 is still available. The Proteus® 5.2.1 Software version is also still available for our model DMA 242, Dynamic-mechanical Analyzer. Macro recorder For automatic evaluation of test series on specified criteria and definable messages, e.g. for deviation of results (standard for instruments with automatic sample changer like DSC-ASC and TG-ASC) TM-DSC Programming and Evaluation of temperature modulated DSC tests with the DSC 204 F1 Phoenix® with unique FRC correction. BeFlat® Correction of temperature and heating rates dependent base line deviations with the DSC 204 F1 Phoenix® over a multidimensional polynomial function to achieve highest base line stability with minimal curve in wide temperature ranges. Specific Heat, cp At all DSC systems and also at the “real” TG-DSC systems in our STA instruments the heat flow calibration for determination of the temperature depending calorimetric sensitivity is enabled. Therefore, the fast and exact determination of the specific heat of solids, powders and liquids after standardized methods (DIN 51007, ASTM E 1269 and ISO 11357) with our DSC and STA instrument are very easy. SuperRes® (RCM, RCS) The software extension for measurements with rate controlled temperature behavior (mass changing controlled TG (RCM), rate controlled shrinking Dilatometry (RCS)) has proved its efficiency to increase the resolution especially at superposed processes and to increase the sample compression in sintering processes. c-DTA® At measuring systems with only one thermocouple on the sample, like in thermo balances and dilatometers, by means of c-DTA Software information about endothermal and exothermal processes additionally to the signals of mass and dimension changes can be achieved without any hardware extension. |
