Thermal Analysis is a group of methods in which the thermophysical properties of a substance or a mixture are measured as a function of temperature or time while the substance is subjected to a controlled temperature program. Exact thermal data is the basic requirement for material syntheses, for describing a material’s behavior, for exact material selection, for predictions on the service life but also for simulation calculations.
