NETZSCH EPS – A New and Affordable Standard Material for Testing Thermal Conductivity with HFM Instruments

The heat flow meter (HFM) method is mainly used to test thermal conductivity and thermal resistance of insulation samples. It is not an absolute method, therefore, the heat flow meter output needs to be calibrated with a standard material. NETZSCH-Gerätebau GmbH has recently qualified its own factory standard for calibration and validation of heat flow meter (HFM) instruments, the NETZSCH EPS standard.
