Polyurethane is a plastic material that is created through polyaddition. Depending on the volume fraction and nature of the substances combined with one another as well as the processing, polyurethane can take on a wide variety of forms and have therefore many different properties. This is why polyurethane is also very versatile. In this webinar series, the influence of the chemistry on the final properties of polyurethane elastomers is investigated.
The webinar series consists of two parts. In the first part, the fundamentals of thermal analysis and the measuring instruments are presented.
In the second part, the relationship between the chemical composition and the performance indicators of polyurethane elastomers is analyzed.
