It is possible to use all existing cooling systems of the DSC 200 F3 Maia.
Cooling systems of a new DSC 204 F1 Phoenix (from approximately 2011 on) might be connectable as well. However in this case, a technical verification is requested.
However, it is impossible to connect an existing DSC 204 F1 Phoenix IC85 (technically not possible).
Cooling systems of older DSC 204 F1 Phoenix systems cannot be used due to technical reasons.
Please note that the cooling finger of the IC systems might stick or becomes cemented. In this case, the device has to be sent to NETZSCH.
The plot shows a comparison of indium measurements in different Al pans as well from different suppliers. For each crucible type 5 samples were prepared with 1 mg and 10 mg, respectively. Then each sample was measured 10 times and between the measurements the crucible was taken out of the DSC cell and put back in.
The mean value of each 10 measurement sets was determined and the standard deviation was calculated.
The operator only has to type in the sample mass of the standard to be measured. The definition of the temperature program, curve evaluation, and the creation of sensitivity and temperature calibration files is automatically done by the software. This means AutoCalibration acts on its own initiative to set the temperature program, evaluation and calculation of the calibration files. The operator has only to give information about the standard he wants to run.
